Here are some burner basics: All Turbo Heat Units are solid fuel ready and can burn firewood, cardboard, wood scrap, etc. However, gas or oil based fuels require the appropriate burner for the fuels being burned. Burners are separate and must be added if you wish to use gas or oil.
Natural gas or propane burners cannot burn oil and visa-versa. Natural gas or propane burners are basically the same however, the regulators are different. You cannot burn both without converting the gas flow regulator.
Our standard heating oil burner requires clean standard heating oil including: heating oil #1, heating oil #2, diesel #1, and/or diesel #2. These oils can be mixed or blended.
Our waste oil burners on the other hand, burn all standard heating oils #1 thru #6 as well as used motor oil, transmission fluid, and many cooking oils.
To utilize electricity you must add electric heat elements.
We supply all burners which have been specifically tested with the Turbo Heating System.
