WHAT IS A TURBO HEAT SYSTEM�?

THE TURBO HEAT UNIT

A Turbo Heat Unit is a large box shaped reservoir (storing hundreds of gallons of hot water) with a built-in combustion chamber, heat extractor, a series of heat ports and heat exchanger coils, etc.  Different models can store between 700,000 and 1,800,000 BTU's of usable hydronic heat energy.

The vast majority of heating systems produce heat on demand.  They miss out on the phenomenal opportunities associated with thermal heat storage. With the Turbo Heat Unit you can potentially heat your home and hot water for days after the power goes out just from the stored heat energy within the reservoir itself.

DISTRIBUTING THE HEAT

The hot water stored in the Turbo Heating Unit reservoir can instantly supply heat to virtually anything using "hydronic (hot water) distribution".  This can be done through standard forced air systems, in-floor radiant heat pipes, radiators , wall insert heaters, surface mount heaters, hot water baseboards, heated towel racks, etc.  The possibilities are limitless.  Hydronic distribution can be retrofitted to most existing buildings or installed in new construction.

THE HEAT ROOM

The Turbo Heat Unit is typically installed in a sealed Heat Room with an insulated walk-in door.  This Heat Room can reach temperatures over 150 degrees fahrenheit.  This Room can be used in ways most people have never dreamed of. It can be used as a main heat source for standard heating or emergency backup heating.  It can be used as a materials heating or drying room.
